TIGI International Hair Show

A few weeks ago, `TIGI Hair International` held a fabulous show at the `Dream Factory Studio` in Cape Town. We were so happy to make it and wanted to share some of the awesome photo's with you!

The inspiring "Candy Fixation" show was produced all around South Africa, here are some of the photo's from the Cape Town leg. 

Nunzio Magazine was on hand to deliver the striking hairdos and hairWOWz just for you. We had a hand in helping set up lighting, projection, photography, runway, and pa systems for the action packed show. In such a glamorous little venue, this show really stood out for us. 

I'm sure there'll be many more shows to come from all parties involved. Barcode, TIGI, Nunzio Magazine, and AV Direct truly inspired a fantastic visual event performance. The hairsyles and fabulous models did the rest. An amazing night of entertainment and displays of styled art.

The Lovell Art Gallery

 `Shadowclub` The Lovell Art Gallery

Combining `art with local music culture` served up an amazing evening at the Lovell Art Gallery in Woodstock, Cape Town.

 

Andy Parker, the `manager of the gallery`, hosted a wonderful concept presented by Arno Carstens, `fusing artwork and acoustics` to create a warm creative atmosphere.  Several well known South Africa musicians got the chance to perform, including: Jon Savage, Zolani Mahola, Valiant Swart and great new Cape Town act Shadowclub.  Mike Rutherford of "Genesis and Mike and the Mechanics," also gave a special guest appearance alongside the Jon Savage band. 

 

The entertainment was fantastic and the `Native Digital Agency` showcased their concept of projecting visuals within `social media applications` to the tune of the music . This visualization captured the `audience's attention` as photo's of them could be seen on the screen.

Dynamic creativity and modern design incorporated an essential communication technique for advertising and interacting with clients.

This winter we're celebrating Design Indaba's unique perspective for displaying and showcasing the best in creativity.

I've had a great time hanging out with the crew from DI. 
They've always taken into consideration how appealing smart design is. How once it has been developed, the uses for which it was intended are beyond beneficial.

Design Indabar, a concept presented by Grolsch, to design and create two white hydraulic-controlled containers offering the most pleasant hospitality.

These containers are quite special, the first, contains a very sleek bar counter with basins, shelves and point-of-sale devices. Ceiling lighting and power distribution is included for 2 large refrigerators.

 A set of stairs then lifts down and is used to walk safely up to the balcony area, which is perfect for DJs, musicians and other entertainment.

The second container is slightly different. The hydraulic technology is used to raise the side doors rather than extend and lower them.

The main sliding door is lifted to create a perfect screen for films, while the interior serves as a versatile mobile gallery.

"Designed by Fly Pitcher in collaboration with Ravi Naidoo of Design Indaba, the interior and exterior surfaces of the Design Indabar can be used to project art, film, design and the like." 

Grolsch marketing manager, Mashinka Fourie said the Design Indabar was created by the perfect synergy between Grolsch and the Design Indaba.
